Why would I pay for Choice or Choice Preferred for my family of four (Mom, Dad, and two kids, aged 10 and 11) so that one parent can sit with a child? It appears that everyone still gets separated and shuffled around. What’s the point of paying extra? Just so I can say, “I paid extra and still got four middle seats or sat in the back row by the lavatory?”
***Edited to add, it’s not just a puddle jumper flight. It’s from California to St. Louis including a lay over in Vegas. (There is only one direct per day and it doesn’t work with our schedule.)
