I made a post here the other day asking about anything odd happening in the area and a lot of good things I wanna investigate came up but most people were talking about the 4 dead bodies that have been found in the Des Moines river since February this year.

I decided to start investigating while I’m at work and so far what I’ve found has been odd, no smoking gun but something feels off.

All 4 victims are Male & people of color.
All 4 victims were found in roughly a 3.5 mile area of each other along the river
With the exception of one victim none of these men had Facebook or Instagram accounts that I could find outside of a couple family members who I reached out to but from what I found these men had very little evidence of even existing besides Dut Makuet who had an IG & FB. Luis Baltazar had no social media no obituary and no photo that I could find. Most I could find on Abraham Aguilar was his arrests from 2 years ago and Aaron Henry also had no FB or Instagram I could find, he had some people wishing him well including his mother on FB but I find it odd for a guy who had 7 kids to have no social media considering how often parents like to post their kids. I also have found it weird how the Des Moines PD have been very quick to say “there has been no criminal activity involved” when referring to how the victims died or ended up in the river. Idk but I’ll do some more in depth research when I’m back home and can get on my laptop but if anyone has anything let me know. Stay safe out there

I’m a freelance journalist looking for some stuff in the area to investigate. I was curious if there has been anything people have been wanting to be investigated but hasn’t been yet.
