So I moved into a friend’s house this week and the foundation has been recently repaired (3 days ago.) The interior wall on the other side of this has a horizontal sheet rock crack along all 12ft, and is what clued us into the issue.

Outside, I found this panel, hanging, bent, with the conduit ripped away.

I asked him about it and he said that it looked like this prior to the foundation issue, that it has been inspected and deemed safe. I can’t personally imagine how this could be safe, but I don’t really know much about these matters. In my mind it feels like it’s gonna burn the house down.

Is there a world in which this can be safe?
