Parents overfeeding dog
I'm 16 so in the house I have "nothing to say"
Where do I start.
I god Banan the male dog from Greece DASH.
He's a stray.
He was so "skinny" in a healthy way but now he's like 35+ kilos? Not super obese otherwise the vet would've said something
But for example today we ate pizza and the dog growled outside. Normal dog behavior. My mother says "when he starts barking I give him pizza crust" meaning: they give him stuff to "shu him up" but they don't know it's rewarding behavior.
He doesn't even bark/growl that much. But for example if he doesn't want to go into the house they pull out treats (excessively) and stuff to pull him into the house or to make him stop barking.
Example: muschi the cat (yes I named him because of the German word first)
Whenever muschi meows my mother feeds him. But he is literally so fat. Not like those obese mega cats you see on the internet but he is already heavy. But it's OK for him to go hungry and not eat every 10 minutes.
I don't know what to do, show them a video or whatever because Banan (dog) already has problems standing up. Maybe age. Maybe weight. Maybe both. It's not fair because it's animal abuse.
