Thoughts about the Gagamaru slander

i don’t know how many times has this been discussed, but as a ➡️➡️casual⬅️⬅️ fan, i’d like to share my opinion on it.

So i have seen a lot of Gagamaru slander on tiktok, and while it honestly can be funny, I still can’t wrap my head around how people actually mean it.

Like, Gagamaru started out as a striker too, as everyone in Blue Lock. Ofc they gradually changed their positions, but none of those changes are as drastic as going from striker to gk. I’m nowhere close to being a football expert, but even I can see how big of a switch that is.

So imo it’s just unfair to expect him to actually perform well as a goalie, when he’s had only a couple months to fully transition into one. Yes he has great physical abilities, but are we really expecting him to defend well against the best of the best (eg Loki), who is a massive threat even to the trained goalkeepers of the league?

I learned the wrong foot approach

So hi, i basically downloaded reddit just for this, i’m not really familiar with how things go here.

But basically: i am a late-starter beginner; i have been playing vb for around a year as a hobby, with 2 practices per week. I really want to get better, as i’ll be competing next season in a low division. I‘m an OH, but the thing is, i’m not really good at hitting. (The ball gets over and stuff, but still not the way i’d like it.) This led me to practicing more, and accidentally noticing in one of my self recorded videos that i did the left handed approach. I thought it was just a one time thing, then i realised it wasn’t. I keep doing the left handed approach while being right handed.

I’m honestly so embarrassed that i haven’t noticed before. Not even my coach did. Speaking of it, i want to jump of a cliff from the thought of telling this my coach (even tho i probably should), so that’s why i decided to ask this subreddit. I’d like to add that i’m a whole lot better at defense than hitting, and i’m scared that coach wants me to be a libero, even though i love being an OH, so i need to improve asap.

On the bright side lol, now i know why my spikes are weaker than i’d like. No core or hips utilized while hitting whatsoever lmao

Does anyone have any good advice on correcting this (beside insane amounts of repetition)? Has anyone been in the same situation?

Thanks 😆
