Image 1 — I decided to do a slightly larger change on my coate of arms so I changed the helmet and added longer florishes to frame the shield a bit more. Hopefully this can stand as a decent enough final design but any tips for future seperate designs will be welcome :)

Made my family coate of arms.

I recently found my family's coate of arms when my uncle made a small clay knight and put the design on his shield so I decided to make a proper crest for us. This is the first piece of heraldry I have made so any pointers would be appreciated.
I did some research and I found that this crest has been used for my family dating back as far at the 13th century where my family was apparently holding a family seat in Kent and later traced to Buckinghamshire where they worked as blacksmiths for some time.
