Riding culture v other SEA countries
Hey folks,
Heading to Phuket for a week in August to see some old friends and their gorgeous new baby!
Was wondering if (for those who have experience/lived in other SEA places) there would be any SPECIFIC road cultural traits you've observed and could give some advice on.
For reference, I lived in Sai Gon VN 20 years ago and rode a motorbike daily for work and study, have ridden around Indonesian islands a bit the last two years & ride daily in Melbourne, Australia for work on a 3 wheel motorbike thing. <<< Stating this to indicate I have experience in Asia riding and am adaptable, so not looking for basic riding skills stuff.
Would love any comparisons, pitfalls, advice as to how to adapt/prepare for Thailand (even as specific as Phuket) roads on a 150/250cc scooter.
Appreciate the help! Khob khun krab! :)))
