Went to the dealership to get some warranty work done, my driver's side rear window won't close right. Within 30 seconds of me pulling into the service bay I had a salesperson asking me about trading in my GLI, I said I wasn't intrested and love my car. 3 minutes later I had a second sales person approach. She asked me the same question, with some added infromation. Apparently lots of people just want Jetta now. Proabably because of this dogshit economy we are in people are finally realizing SUV crossovers are the worst of every world. The sales lady even said that I would get more for a trade in because it was a manual, GLI or not. I told her I was flattered but still don't want to trade it in. As I was walking out to my uber I had the sales manager come and give me his card and let me know I was welcome to call anytime for a trade. Again I thanked him for his time, but I told them I plan on running the car into the ground.

Has anyone else expirenced this recently? I took my car into the same dealership for the complementary oil changes (I bought the car new) and never had this type of attention.
