Hi all,
I have an NC1 with Bilstein shocks and Eibach 30mm springs fitted, 205/45/17 tyres aiming to go up to 215.
When I got the alignment done, the garage were able to get at most -1.5deg negative camber at the front, and they set the rear to -2.
From what I understand, the NC chassis naturally leans towards understeer, so this additonal camber at the rear is only contributing further to this.
What would be a sensible number to aim for at the rear if the most I can get at the front is -1.5? I was thinking around -1.6 to -1.7. I believe this would still allow sharp front turn in/grip without it being so understeery.
I have been looking at the flying miata (understeer bias, had it on my NA and treating as a last resort) and 949racing dual duty setup which was the one I was initially aiming for but wasn't able to adjust to this, but ideally looking to just have the car with the best possible alignment for fast road/touge use.
Opinions/disussion welcomed!
