Rewatching and Missed This Exchange

I was laughing crying last night with this scene, so funny to me:

Wyck: >!“Stage 1, the eyes turn white,” he warns. “Stage 2, loss of the five senses and delirium. Stage 3, loss of erection.”!<

Patricia:“Who the hell is trying after Stage 2?

Patricia and this show is hilarious!!

Trying Colonia Highway after a Hiatus

Coming back after a couple years off, getting used to piloting again and to keep my interest this time I just immediately plotted a course using "Colonia Highway" waypoints (economical route thru fuel stars).
I like my Krait Mk2, (even though I have bigger ships), with only a 15ly jump. I'm not in a hurry or looking for efficiency. Just "backpacking" through the expanse and maybe scanning, hunting here and there.
Is there anything "new" pilots miss when doing Colonia that I should know?

Additional gameplay idea aside from above:
I know how it feels like for Elite players to keep hitting that point where nothing interests us in the game for a long while so used some new ideas. My young son has started getting interested in space sims but has a tendency to want "adventure" where he can see new and varied things along with a realistic space-sim (we have a budget cockpit-type setup).
We started role-playing Elite with a few other games that we use as types of modules where we can find a planet and boot up the following depending on what scenario I create for him:
No Man's Sky: planetside exploration. Subnautica 1 and 2: water planet. Fallout 4: Apocalyptic planet.
Skyrim, etc, etc. Works with a lot of our games!
We have a 2nd and 3rd screen around the cockpit where I have him (or me) flicking switches and pressing buttons following checklists in the game "Reentry" (hard sim spacecraft game) or looking up stuff in Inara on a 3rd screen (Steamdeck) etc.
Its been the best time with Elite so far.

Edit: correction, looks like my Krait has 23ly jump range.
