I have an online friend and he sometimes get really bad flare ups from gerd, and whenever that happens i don't really know what to do or say but i want to help. I usually keep him company, give space, agree that it sucks and try to find solutions that i can in the moment to make it at least a bit better, i lurk in here sometimes to see if theres anything here that could be applied to him as well and and could help him, but ik it can be subjective to everyone, and one time it didnt do him good, so i've no clue what is there to do except what i've mentioned up there.

Now ik theres not really much i can do since its a disease, but it'd help to know how others appreciate ppl acting when flare ups happen.
