Naming my son

Hey!! This is yet another post about the naming conventions. We have decided to get our son his birth certificate. I know not to follow initials from all the other posts.

But my confusion is which format below to follow.
Let’s say my son’s name is Apple and father name is pineapple. What should I follow?

  1. Apple
  2. Apple pineapple

If it’s just Apple, won’t the father’s name automatically become his surname everywhere?

If I follow Apple pineapple format, will his father’s name be added again in some documents to make his full name apple pineapple pineapple? I don’t want him to end up with two pineapple behind his name. Please help.
Sorry for the fruit analogy.

Joie pact pro.

I just got mine yesterday. My LO is 4.5 months old now and After lots of research and using it in stores I finally got pact pro for 21k. Initially my budget was 10k. But now I feel guilty for spending so much on a stroller. Please tell me if I made the right choice.

We shortlisted r for rabbit street smart, pocket aero light and other lightweight strollers but it felt flimsy. Joie feels more sturdy and well padded. Please tell me your opinion on this.

I want to hear from other users about their experience with pact pro.

  1. Is it cabin friendly? The store person said it’s not. But I see lot of people here saying they’ve took it on cabins. So if you did take it on airplanes is it international flights or just the domestic ones?

  2. Is it really easy to use it solo with baby on one hand?

  3. How are the wheels handling strolling on Indian roads ( assuming the road is in fairly good condition)

  4. How do you use the basket? What do you generally carry in it?

  5. Any tips/hacks for the stroller that you’ve learned over time? Or anything I should be cautious about?

  6. How do you clean your stroller? Is the material washable/removable?

please tell me if it’s worth the money.

Diaper leaks at night

Baby boy is 4 months old. His diaper have leaked at nights. But yesterday it literally wet the bed, his clothes and my pants. I lost sleep changing him and he woke up . This is my last straw please help me.

I used to use feather in M size. Now I shifted to allter in M size. Allter have been leaking worse than feather. The leaks always seem to be happening from the side bands.

I mostly don’t change his diaper overnight cuz he pees once or twice and feather used to hold it well except occasionally leaking on the side. Allter has been disastrous so far. So please suggest some diapers for overnight. Pants style preferably. Also I don’t want him to develop rashes cuz I don’t change mostly. I only use diaper overnight so please help me out.
Please suggest me some brands/hacks.

Ps : something soft and nice! I don’t mind the pricing cuz I use only overnight.

My little one is 4 months old. Everyday I wake up when he wakes up, get him to poop and then oil massage him, play with him and bathe him and feed and rock him to sleep. He sleeps for 40 mins and cries. I rock him to nap for another 20 mins and he’s done. I do this for four more naps and we go to bed. The day passes pretty quickly.
But today I feel the burnout coming. My eyes feel dry and tired. Hands legs and shoulders ache so much. I feel drained and exhausted. Today I want to lay on my bed a little longer, take it slow but my baby doesn’t wait for me.

Motherhood feels so lonely and so tiring and I feel extremely guilty for saying it out loud. He’s my whole heart but there are days I just want to take a long hot shower instead of rushing out every 5 mins from the phantom cries. I just want to sleep for a couple hours till my body feels rested without waking from every little sound he makes. Eat guilt free and just bedrot.

When do I actually get to love instead of just surviving between naps? I’m pushing myself to the extremes so I don’t feel the pain, so I don’t have the space in my mind to think all this and just get going to another task my baby requires but some days just gets to me! I feel empty and full at the same time!

How do you moms actually handle this? I don’t even know if I’m making sense here.

My LO is 4 months old and I’m looking to buy a stroller. I don’t know the abc of strollers so would love suggestions on all the criteria’s I should look at. We’re looking at a budget of nothing more than 10-12k. Something light but sturdy, for everyday use and for flight cabins. Other than these is there anything else I should look at? Please give me suggestions and advice!!!!
