Is there a chance Tesla can allow us to view the B-pillar camera in car wash mode? That’ll help reduce all the “curb rashes” in those automatic car wash machines
I get my M3P cleaned weekly at one of those automatic car wash places that have the conveyor belt style machine. Every time I bring the car in, I dreaded curbing the front left wheel because of how narrow the guiding track is. They did have the soft plastic on the rail but it got completely ripped off by how many cars that have rubbed on it.
I’m looking into third party camera solutions so that I can see where the wheel is going when I pull in but I realized that Tesla already has the perfect camera for that: the B-pillar camera.
Is there a technical reason why Tesla can’t allow us to at least view this camera (if not all cameras) when we’re in car wash mode?
I got rim cases on my Uberturbine wheels and every time I hit the rail is a dead rim cases. Those aren’t cheap either.
