As usual, the boys in blue like to give me a heart attack up until the end. Sorry that Yamamoto had a rough night, even though he got more support than usual.

Also, given everyone's love of the game, could managers try to keep each lineup to a starter and max 2 substitutions? That's all that fits on most scorecards. Though it is certainly fun to figure out how to make it work on the fly.

So I am in the midst of watching/scoring the Marlins/Dodgers game tonight. When Caissie is up to bat in the top of the 4th, he earns a time violation and receives his third strike, making him out.

MLB.com is currently crediting Yamamoto with the K. Since he didn't pitch it, I don't think he should get the credit for it (please forgive me fellow Dodger fans). Even Rule 9.15 doesn't cover this situation, neither does any rule as far as a cursory glance of the book gives.

Any thoughts on this? Would you credit the pitcher with the strikeout? Is there a rule that governs this?
