Couldn’t find anyone else talking about it, but today I finished listening to Book 9. When Tanaka, Tiny, and Holden find Duarte and describe the way he is suspended with the tendrils and arms out I had a strong vision of Vecna in stranger things being suspended by the vines. Many many similarities in between the two characters in general now that I am thinking of it. I just looked it up and learned that Book 9 was released a year before season 4 (where we first see vecna suspended by vines). I wonder if the ST creators were fans of the expanse.
