SD Card problem

So I bought the xteink x4 from AliExpress some time ago, and everything was going right. However sometimes when I take out the original SD card to upload some books, it shows an error on my pc and asks me to format the SD card, this has been really annoying
To solve this I chose to buy another SD card, but I have tried two SD cards and I can't get them to work. I had crossink but for some reason when I put a different SD card from the original it doesn't read the files in it, says that there's no files.
I have tried to put the books in epub and txt, but to no avail, the only way the xteink shows the documents it's with the original firmware.
English isn't my first language so sorry for any mistake, I'll be thankful if anyone can help me with this.
