What if the lonely chapter didn’t have to be lonely?
If you listen to this podcast I’d wager you are trying to take your life to the next level and in “the lonely chapter.”
I was listening to episode 1071 with Bill Gurley and he talks about Mr. Beast and the Skype call he would do with other creators with the goal of improving their YouTube content — he shares a similar story about several athletic directors at prestigious universities who had a similar group chat with the goal of honing their craft.
I’m struggling with finding my passion and figuring out what it is I want to do with my life— MW has been a great compass for steering me in a good direction, and although I’ve scoped in on some avenues, I’m still not where I want to be. I’d love to find peers to collaborate with, innovate with, create with, and honestly, sometimes just vent with. I have to imagine I’m not alone. If you’re interested in putting together some sort of group to chat please let me know, whether that’s in the form of a book club, text thread, X group chat, or whatever— I do not use Reddit very often so if ya’ll believe this is a better spot for what I’m thinking, please direct me.
I’d have to imagine we all want to do cool shit and be better men if we listen to MW - even more so if we are on the Reddit page, lol. So why not create a space where we celebrate wins, help each other solve problems, and ultimately escape the lonely chapter. What if the lonely chapter didn’t have to be lonely?
