I have 2 lens for my Sony Alpha 7C. One that came with the camera and the one that I bought to take more nature shots.

FE 28-60mm f/4-5.6 Lens.
FE 24-240mm f/3.5-6.3 OSS Zoom Lens

Recently I dropped my FE 28-60mm f/4-5.6 Lens which cause it to no longer be able to zoom in or out. Other then that, the lens still work.

My question is, is there anything the FE 28-60mm f/4-5.6 Lens does better? I am thinking of repairing it but unsure if it’s worth it since the FE 24-240mm f/3.5-6.3 OSS Zoom Lens seems better in every way.
