Is the pod for 500 dollars off worth it right now?

I was gonna wait till Black Friday for 700 dollars off? But the pod is 500 off right now for the pod 5. How much exactly is the pod 5 off during black friday. is it worth to wait or should I pull it right now as the increase in my quality of sleep would definitely be worth it right now versus waiting months.

I’ve pretty much been tired my entire life with irregular and unrefreshing sleep. I’m 24, but I suspect I had sleep apnea in my teens as I couldn’t live without my after school naps as a high schooler. I suspect I compensated very well in my teens. In college I was tired and lazy and late to everything. I managed to do pretty well towards the later years(but worked 100x harder to achieve results).

I remember telling my high achieving special forces buddy about my sleep regimen (blackout curtains, lights dimming, magnesium, etc.) and he commented about how it’s great I’m implementing even the minor things whereas he only tries to focus on the major things that affect sleep. I didn’t wanna tell him im doing all these little things to attempt to feel refreshed by sleep.

Fast foward past college where im working as a firefighter and I have so much regret about all the times I looked like a complete idiot from instructions I couldn’t comprehend from my brain fog.

I’m pretty type A and want to achieve all these things. i really felt like I had potential to be great and had a strong work ethic to be exceptional, but just every day waking up extremely tired despite doing everything in my power to feel refreshed in the morning.

Im really hoping my diagnosis and cpap fixes my brain fog and extreme tiredness and I can finally achieve what I work for.

How did you reclaim your life after treatment/cpap for ur sleep apnea?

My doctor told me to try out my dad’s cpap as I have mild sleep apnea but am symptomatic (extremly tired all day, brain fog, etc.). The machine is 15+ years ago , the fisher and paykel sleep style 200. I use a 6 foot tubing and about an hour into sleep I wake up from loud wind tunnel noise coming from the tubing/mask. The pressure also feels weird. When I wake up I notice there a lot of water in the tubing and the sound goes away when I drain the water.

Im finally gonna test out a new cpap with APAP feature, but will the new machine fix the wind tunnel noise? I think I’ll tolerate cpap well and it’ll improve my life but I need to find a solution to this issue.
