Hello everyone

Im at wits end. My rear door on my skoda fabia is jammed. I've finally resorted to drilling a hole on the door (from the inside) to remove a screw and piece of metal that should in theory disable the deadlock, but the door is still jammed. I don't know if the child lock mechanism is at play aswell, but that is seriously impossible to reach even when drilling a hole in the door. Am I seriously at a point where I should take a hammer and chisel to the whole lock engine in hope that it will disable then?
