For optimal seasoning - lid or no lid

Only just split, hoping to be ready for 2027/28 winter, or if seasoned tail end of 2026/27 winter

Cut and split Scot Pine yesterday

Left about 2 inches between rows for airflow

Should I close the front up if it's raining? Or not bother and keep it open until September
