I’m a big Cooking Mama fan and was really invested in the drama surrounding Cooking Mama Cookstar (the unofficial console Cooking Mama game).
Back in like 2021-2022, before the legal proceedings finalized and Office Create shut it down, there was a Cooking Mama Tik Tok account… and it used to PISS ME OFF! I would hate watch their content because (if it wasn’t a very small amount of Cooking Mama costume character footage that was actually pretty silly and cute) it would feature this strange V Tuber type model of Mama but with an entirely different voice actor.
Through a series of unfortunate events I ended up becoming mutuals with the account right before they wiped it to be replaced with slop promoting YumYum Cookstar so if I dig through an old drive I can produce screenshots of the account’s pfp / my DMs that they ignored.
I was trying to tell my partner about this but it seems like they’ve destroyed all the evidence. I’ve only been able to find 2 videos featuring this V Tuber of Mama that are still up; one of which is my own video I dueted with her while another is a clip with her and that Willy Wonka lookalike Tik toker (they really went bottom of the barrel on marketing collabs smh) which I think was taken from a live stream.
I know they used the model for live streams, cause that’s where they supposedly hosted raffles for people to win a limited edition Cooking Mama Cookstar Nintendo switch (which I only ever saw one diffferent Vtuber and a rando who may have been a part of the Cookstar channel showing off, if they exist out there I need to know where but that’s for a different post). They’d reuploaded a video of a vaguely elven VTuber showing off how the Cookstar switch would be a part of their setup and I was extremely jealous but I don’t remember who the VTuber was to see whether it was still up on their own account or not.
They also for sure collaborated with that one Tik Toker who would eat Jelly Fruits while talking in a baby voice and using a filter (the one that went “juicy squirt!”, I think their account was WeWearCute) - but I can’t find any traces of the campaign.
I used to have a Tik Tok draft wear I dueted a fake out asmr video they uploaded where Judas Mama would burp at the end, but it got deleted when I switched phones.
