My brother is getting married next month. Last week I found out through my mom that he had quietly removed my partner from the guest list because his fiancée "feels uncomfortable" around them. Nobody told me directly. I only found out by accident.

When I confronted my brother, he said it was "his day" and he had the right to invite whoever he wanted. I told him if my partner isn't welcome then neither am I, and I won't be attending.

Now my entire family is calling me selfish for "ruining" his wedding over "something small." My mom says I'm making it about myself. But I feel like being told your partner is secretly uninvited is a pretty big deal?
