Re-prepping entire nail plate every appointment?
I just graduated from an in person accredited nail course and feel like I learned nothing! I feel like I’m destroying peoples nails with the techniques I was taught so I would like either reassurance or redirecting.
In school our instructor (who has never done nails before) made us drill off (no soaking) gel polish from the natural nail and re-prep the entire nail plate every time these regulars came in for a polish change? Is that damaging? Should I be soaking instead? Should I not re-prep the whole nail when these people come in every 2-3 weeks?
