I had my friend on Reta now for about 7 weeks 2mg and he’s down about 11 pounds. He has been diabetic and taking glipizide which he stopped once on Reta. His glucose level prior to Reta was 139 now, he went to 104 in 3 weeks and is constantly now at that level. However, he’s experiencing skin sensitivity with moderate associated pain on the skin areas mostly upper body. We think it’s a reaction to the lower than normal for him glucose level. Has anyone experienced this and can shed and light and guidance?
