It feels so unfair…
I’ve heard from a lot of friends this afternoon and evening that they don’t have to take their finals anymore. Some of their courses either made the final optional or cancelled it and gave everyone 100%. These include classes like MATH 416, MATH 357, STAT 410, and MATH 285, based on what their professors announced.
I’m happy for them, but I also feel really upset because nothing has changed in my own schedule. My exam is on Monday, and the uncertainty is eating me alive.
Should I wait and see what happens, or should I start reviewing all the course content now? I honestly don’t know what to do.
Update: Although the provost said postponed exams would be rescheduled, exams that professors already cancelled apparently will not be rescheduled. The lack of consistency is so frustrating.
And yes, I’m going to email them.
