Help a Beginner Not Be a Larper!
Hi everyone! I hope you're all doing well.
I've just recently gotten into the hobby. My brother is SUPER into Warhammer, and he's gotten me into it. I originally got into it by painting the models, and have some experience. Initially I was into death guard, but found I only really liked painting the bodyhorror models. My brother gives me mini lore dumps every now and then, and between the dice rolling faction abilities of Thousand Sons, their apperance, and being fucking space wizards, I started gravitating towards them. Things got even better when my brother ended up getting me the Sehkmet Coven battleforce box, and I ended up getting a box of rubrics to officially begin my journey as a Thousand Sons player.
Now, I'm very excited to get into the community, but I gotta be honest, I don't know where to start, and I don't want to paint and play these guys without knowing about them. Their history, lore, stories, facts, etc. Only difficult thing is I really don't know where to start. Are there good lore videos on 1k Sons? Are there any books? I guess what I'm asking is what's the best way to familiarize myself with this faction and its characters so I can really immerse myself in the faction?
