If I keep painting at this rate, I’ll have completely finished painting my army by 2036.

Despite liking the pain and rather 'not-so-dynamic' poses of the Rubics, befitting their automata like being, I wanted them to look a bit more special for my Warpcoven Killteam. Swapping some bits with the Sorcerers sprue and freehanding all iconography on the shoulder pads was certainly the right thing for that.

Still, I must say that GW's design idea of a Rubic with a minigun just does not catch me. It feels weird for me to see the weapon on the Rubics and the Scarrab Occult Terminators. For my taste, it also just looks a bit to big and heavy to handle for the Rubic.

I was originally going to do the vehicle based detachment but switched to grand coven last second. How'd I do?

I played several armies, but have always wanted to try Thousand Sons. Didn't want to go crazy painting another trim heavy army, so I tried out this scheme inspired by magical terracotta warriors! Paints up really quick, can do a unit in basically 2 days

Now I have to figure out what to do with Magnus, MVB, and Daemon princes. I could have them in more classic organic colors, or just say screw it and make them entirely terracotta too

Keep getting a syllable in the incantation wrong and bam! Back to the start again 🙃

I didn't really follow the box art , especially with the darker bronze trim, but I love how they turned out. Of course there are inconsistencies but I have no words to describe how proud I am! Tips are definitely welcome though!

Nothing crazy but I have never done a kitbash before, the bits match better that I thought!

Recently created a Thousand Sons themed illustration, hope you like it!

I’m using one of the 30k models as a sorc in term armour. Does anyone have any examples of them painting them for 40k, in the normal tsons blue?

I put in the pictures of how I reposed it. I think it turned out alright but I couldn't find anything anywhere on how to go about doing a mutalith repose with only seeing completed models. Hopefully my pictures will help others trying to do something similar with this model. But honestly it was a pain in the rear end and I'd recommend not reposing it at all cause it sucked lol.

Got myself some Blue Steel, gave him an electroscourge, and after a nice Twist of Fate, he just shot, charged, tank shocked and hit a land raider to death in one turn! It was glorious!!!

Went with a quick & simple base cause I didn’t have any ideas for the base lol
