Job offer in Ontario, OR

Yall. I am form Portland, OR. My husband got an offer in Ontario OR. What should I expect living here? Is it a one horse town? Will I be able to get my nails done, hair done, and go to malls? Will our children be lonely living here? I have no idea what to expect? Be honest. Im a big city girl so will it be like culture shock?

Kaiser New Grad Program Sunnyside/Westside Medical Center

Just wondering if anyone has any information on the timeline of hiring for this residency? And if so, has anyone been made an offer or had an interview yet? Just wondering if this position has been filled already or not. Or even how many residents they're expecting to hire? Thanks

New Grad OB Acute Providence Portland

Has anyone been offered an interview for the new grad position for OB acute at Prov Portland?

Also how does one land interviews at Prov bc all my applications say not retained? Do I need to pass AI checkers? Or have personal connections?

New Grad Nurse in Portland OR No Opportunities?

Hi friends,

I'm writing this because I graduated in December and I have been applying to jobs since my last semester of nursing school. I have only ever landed one interview (and did not get the job). I share custody of my kid so I absolutely cannot move. I'm starting to feel hopeless and even beating myself up over going to nursing school in the first place because I had no idea it was this difficult to get employed. And I have applied EVERYWHERE. Every SNF, every home health, even DaVita kidney care, and nothing. I'm not entirely sure what I'm even coming on here for... I apply to all the residencies but I'm sure they have hundreds if not thousands of applicants so it really feels pointless. I'm on the Providence website every day, reloading sometimes for hours... Idk any advice? Does anyone know where I could apply as a new grad? Also new grads who are reading this and going through it too (youre not alone), share where youre located and how long you have been applying.
