Hello everyone.

I understand, that i should´nt have interacted with the Scammers at all, im an idiot and i know it..

Situation:

Ive met a "girl" trough a dating-plattform as to which my first thought was "Hey, if they respond in a Voice-message or simillar then they surely wont be a Sextorter."

Im a Idiot for falling for it, but eventually things got "heated" and well, it happened. Ive sent nude content ( 1 Picture and a Video). Before taking these i knew deep inside my head, that its probally a sextortion, but my brain fucked me over, and was like "ahh whateverrrrr".

My first instinct (while taking these 2 things) was that i could just take them, but without showing any background. They did ask me, if i could send a Video of doing it, while showing my face as to which ive replied "Id rather not".

After that it didnt take long, and they started their "operation".
Theyve threatened me, and said that they will ruin my life, while i understand my next move was stupid, i still did it..

Ive told them, that i do not care, ive also told them, that its just a burner account, so i really dont care. and that its whatever. Ive asked them "where do i work" and they ignored it and continued threats, even posting a picture of a office with Computers saying " we are working on it"

Ive just said, do what you must i will go to sleep now, good luck, and ive also told them that they arent very good at what they are doing, if they cant even distuingish a burner account from a real one.

After that i went on and did the following:

• I blocked them on all socials they had me added on.
• I uploaded those Images/Videos they created and sent to me on stopncii.org
• I (temporarly) deactivated my Instagram and dating account and i will "reactivate" them at some point, and change the handle / username and picture.

If theres any more advices, please tell me im all ears, im still kinda panicking even tho ive basically told them "i dont care

Hey everyone, I wanted to share my story to show how these scammers work and how I handled it.

How it happened: I met someone on a dating platform. We started talking on Telegram, and then they asked for my Instagram. This was their trick to see my follower list.

They got some photos of me, but luckily, my face and my body are NOT in the same picture. They have a nude and a separate selfie from the beginning of our chat. On Instagram, I only have about 40 followers, and I only actually know 3 or 5 of them personally.

What happened during the extortion:

• The Job Threat: He threatened to message my "boss." I just asked him: "Wait, where do I even work?" because I’m currently unemployed. He had no answer. He was just going on to the next threat, and he was saying he will ruin my life.
• The Burner Strategy: I told him straight up that I don't care and that the Instagram profile was just a burner account anyway. This made him realize he had no leverage over me.
• The Scare Video: He sent me a video of another guy crying and breaking down in despair. It was obviously a fake video they send to everyone to cause panic. I didn't watch it.

I understand, that Interacting with them in any way or form was stupid, but hey im a idiot.
