eBay supporting criminals
Purchased some legos on eBay for my kid. The seller produced a tracking number. Never shipped them. Then the tracking number eta changed so I gave them more time (shouldn’t have). Then it reverted back. Called eBay. They couldn’t help because it was 30 days. Called my credit card at eBay recommendation. They stepped in. Then seller shows the item shipped. It seemed to circle the country. Turns out it was all a fake tracking based on the geoscanning of where the tracking was showing. Postmaster wrote written statement stating that it was mail fraud. Submitted to eBay and credit card. Got my money back. eBay then removed my negative feedback. Citing that the transaction didn’t occur…..seller had other neutral and negative feedback complaining of similar thing to other buyers. Why would eBay remove feedback and protect a seller committing a federal offense and putting other buyers at jeopardy?
