What’s one cleaning mistake you made for years before realizing there was an easier way

I used to think cleaning had to be done in big, exhausting sessions where I waited for everything to pile up first.

Now I’m realizing small, consistent habits actually make life much easier and keep things from getting overwhelming in the first place.

What’s one cleaning habit or mindset you changed that made a big difference for you?

How do you deal with overthinking small daily tasks that makes everything feel harder than it is

I’ve noticed that even simple tasks sometimes feel overwhelming because I keep overthinking them instead of just starting. It’s not the task itself, but the mental buildup before doing it that slows me down.

I’m trying to figure out how other people handle this and what helps them just start without overthinking every step.
