So I am speed dominant (15 mph, 275 revs) and throw 14 lb balls (Black Widow 2.0, RST X-4, Mix). In looking at the specs of new balls I’m interested in (Motiv Venom Shock or Fatal Venom, Original Hy-Road, Original Phase 2, IQ Tour Solid, maybe a smooth benchmark ball that is a step down from the BW) that are 14 lbs, I’ve noticed that the RG’s are really similar, ranging from 2.50 to 2.54 or so, but the differentials are very different. I know how those numbers work generally.

I am assuming that most of the 14 lb balls are going to be similar as far as length goes (at box surface, which I know doesn’t last) so should I generally just consider coverstock and differential in choosing a new ball?
