Parquet floor sealing

We had our parquet floor sanded, stained and sealed. Used Varathane water based wood stain (one coat) and Varathane high traffic sealant https://www.homedepot.com/p/Varathane-1-gal-Clear-Satin-275-VOC-Oil-Based-Floor-Finish-Polyurethane-242608/305576973

After one coat of stain and sealant I'm seeing/feeling a grainy texture on the wood. Is this normal?

Does this need multiple coats of sealant to be effective as the instructions indicate (it also indicates sanding lightly between sealant coats)?

What would be the course of action if I wanted to remedy this grainy texture?

Tile backsplash installed (Cloe Creme Bedrosians) with taj mahal quartzite and I see more pink in the tile than I saw at the showroom. Bummed since this was supposed to be a warm palette. Does anyone have any words of wisdom for me?
