My Fated Disaster by yosumeow > Tom Riddle had despised the Fountain of Magical Brethren since his first day working at the Ministry and would certainly demolish it when he became Minister. This was Item Fourteen. Item Five was: “Don’t turn out to be an omega.” This item encountered certain complications. New Item Five: “Pretend not to have turned out to be an omega.” New Item Six: “Convincingly.” Item Seven: “In case of failure, kill all witnesses.” The plan was flawless. The plan worked as a flawless plan ought to work. The plan had worked until this morning.

tom riddle's terrible, horrible, no good, very bad opinions by basilpropaganda (blissblissbliss) > Tom Riddle doesn't gossip, doesn't ramble, doesn't repeat himself, doesn't waste words, and certainly doesn't forget to breathe mid-sentence because he has too much to say.

Newly Published Works This Week

Art is a Lie That Makes Us Realise the Truth by Watermelonsmellinfellon > Harry Potter finally learned that he is a Seer, but he is also Mute. He also cannot share his Visions through any medium beyond his art and doesn't really have anyone to share them with anyway. He also has no artistic skills to speak of. Harry is on a journey to improve himself so that he can finally share the things he knows and finally get closure. One day, he'll find himself being courted by the last person he would ever expect... all because of something outside of his control.

Live, Laugh, zombies by Audhi > Harry has his final MBBs exam in two weeks and the world chooses to fuck with him. He goes to a military base and the nutcase who's the commander apparently killed all the doctors before him. This is a tom riddle/harry potter fanfic where harry is 22 and tom is 18.

Too old to be this young by Nadia_Castillo > He was smiling. At Tom Riddle. He was going to get murdered before the year ends, he just knows. Alternate universe/Post-Hogwarts. warnings: mature themes, drinking, swearing. An adult Harry Potter with all his knowledge and experience is transported to his 23yo body in a universe with no war.

Harry Potter and the fact his life can't get more fucked up by Awkwardaxalotl > Harry sees that playing the hero in his first year gets him dumped back at the dursleys with a pat on the back for literally murdering a man and decides fuck it I live like I want now. He goes to gringotts gets an inheritance test finds out he has a reluctant soulmate and that dumbledore is a prick. Shenanigans ensue.

Strings of Fate by dizzydreamer > Harry Peverell might just be the first interesting thing Tom Riddle has ever encountered. As he attempts to uncover the secrets behind the strange boy with a deadly name, Tom will stumble upon a dangerous, electrifying connection; one with the power to change everything. What is a soulmate—and is it enough?

He Doesn't Even Go Here by 3xclusive > Jack, a arrogant young businessman, is unexpectedly transported into the world of Harry Potter and he knows almost nothing about it. Making matters worse, he wakes up inhabiting the body of teenage Tom Riddle from the magical diary. While Jack manages to achieve a physical form, he immediately faces a massive misunderstanding: the entire wizarding world, including an unshakably convinced Harry Potter, believes he is Voldemort's son and is destined to murder them all.

All That We Become by emeraldsea  > After the war, Harry Potter, now the Master of Death, returns to the past and becomes Hogwarts’ flying instructor, raising young Tom Riddle in a secluded Highland cottage under Headmaster Dippet’s protection. Tasked with guiding a child destined for darkness, Harry’s own moral compass shifts as he protects Tom, while the boy’s innate cruelty sharpens into fevered devotion for the young man who raises him. Their bond, deeper than any normal guardian-and-ward relationship, draws the wary eyes of Hogwarts, blurring the boundaries between familial, possessive, and dangerously intimate love. Desire, loyalty, and darkness intertwine, leaving both forever changed.

No Heroes by redhowler > Harry returned from the graveyard to a world drunk on lies and fear only to be taken prisoner by Voldemort right from under Dumbledore's nose. One month wasting away in captivity left him empty, haunted by the deaths of those stolen from him. Until everything changes, when Harry gains the Dark Lord's interest and is set free of his prison. When he is entered into an altogether different fight - one in which he must finally choose what he really wants.

Welcome to the Cultys by duplicity > Harry had two main regrets in his life: asking the question “What if I set up a mock awards show to get cult leaders to show up for my thesis study?” and responding with “That is hilarious” when Ron had suggested they call the awards show 'The Cultys'.

you've got to be kidding by Anna_Hopkins > Severus Snape was resting his cheek on the table at the faculty meeting. The hateful glare he sent the headmaster's way was only emphasized by the dark shadows under his eyes. "Albus," he said. "I don't care what the board is blackmailing you with. This is hell." Dumbledore surveyed the roomful of teachers and found not a single person who disagreed. "I'm sorry, everyone," was his solemn reply, "but the babies are a mandatory project." (You know that old trope in American teen dramas where they give them the fake baby to raise for home-ec? Yeah.)

Tempus Quest by SynError > Draco Malfoy, newly appointed Death Eater, is given a task to kill Albus Dumbledore. So how did he get stuck fifty years in the past with the Boy Who Lived? It's because the Chosen One has a mission of his own. Harry Potter must travel back in time to stop Voldemort at his weakest. Back while he's still Tom Marvolo Riddle. Will they be able to complete their goals, will they finally push aside their differences to work together, or will experiencing the past change their future?

His Most Prized Possession by Darkfire315 > 50 years ago, Tom Riddle’s soul was sealed into a diary, helplessly trapped within its pages. For decades, he sought to escape this prison of his own design. So when a boy named Harry Potter begins writing to him, Tom seizes the opportunity to achieve his freedom. Harry is shockingly easy to possess, after all. Yet for some reason, Harry can retain consciousness while possessed, and worse, he can take control back. Being possessed by Tom doesn’t even seem to do anything to drain his vitality. If Tom didn’t know better, he’d say that Harry’s soul was somehow used to sharing a body with Tom’s own. But that was impossible, wasn’t it?

One-Shots This Week

Little Monsters by IamNotElixr > Lord Voldemort was dead. Killed by a mere toddler. At least, that’s what the prophet had emblazoned across its front page on November 1st, 1981. Barty Crouch Jr knew better. And he was going to be rewarded greatly when he found his master, and delivered little Harry Potter's head on a plate.

The problem of reading too many tomarry fics

I have started reading tomarry fics a few years ago. Then left the fandom and came back, and there were so many new wonderful fics. I went into a frenzy of binge-reading. Several sleepless nights, all work breaks, all grocery shopping, all errands that could be done while reading was occupied by tomarry reading.

Now, I have run out of tomarry fics, but that's not the only problem. The other one is that all the tropes and scenes from various fics have merged into a singular tomarrymort cinematic universe in my head and whenever I try to remember where I read something I can't remember, unless it's a fic I've read recently. 😅

Anyone else with similar problems?
