Really enjoyed this. Emperor Tom who thinks he's hot shit. Enter Harry, his destined soulmate who refuses to behave how he's supposed to behave. It's funny, cute, plotty, angsty, everything. Also, I really love a sassy Harry and an arrogant Tom.

A old fic I read and liked. Same age Tom and Harry. There's no Voldemort so Tom is saner. Cute development between the pair. What I liked was it starts pretty normal and is cute and fluffy but the tone definitely shifts towards the end. The fic deals with some heavy themes in the second half and I found the ending very poignant and sweet.

so basically harry dies in the forest but he was supposed to step aside when voldemort aimed the killing curse at him. they were actually lovers and had planned that but they had a fight and harry ran away with hermione and ron to destroy the horcruxes because he wanted tom to be whole. but then he doesnt step aside and dies and tom desperately tries to resurrect him. harry comes back cuz he has the hallows. while tom is trying to resurrect him he interrogates hermione and ron. tom and harry get married at the end

I’m looking for more stories featuring this couple. I’ve already read some on AO3 (I think I’ve read them all, lol), including one that started a few days ago with a premise similar to *The Apothecary’s Diaries* (Tom is the emperor and has to figure out what and who is killing the harem, and Harry is the only one capable of solving it—something like that. It only has one chapter so far, but the tags sound really interesting along with the synopsis).

Do you know of any other fanfics set in this kind of alternate universe on other platforms?

I can’t find this fic that I remember reading. I think it might be non magical au. Tom is a mob boss that gets kidnapped and Harry is the uninvolved partner that Tom’s workers have to inform. They get the house location from an envelope and go find and meet Harry as Tom’s husband for the first time. Harry (spoiler) blows up the place that took Tom with his soap making supplies, but puts on the façade of a silly little guy. I’m sure it was on ao3 but I can’t find it in any tag configuration I can think of. Thanks for any help!

During the summer before sixth year, Harry isolates himself in Grimmauld Place after Sirius’ death. He barely leaves the house. He spends his days reading through the Black family’s library, searching for anything that might help him defeat Voldemort before the war inevitably reaches Hogwarts.

Instead, he becomes obsessed with something completely different.

As a child, one of the very few things Harry genuinely loved was modeling clay. Once, during an art lesson in primary school, he was allowed to shape something with his own hands. It was warm, soft, forgiving. He still remembers how satisfying it felt to create something from nothing. The Dursleys threw it away the moment he brought it home, but he never forgot it.

So Kreacher is understandably confused when Harry asks him to buy an absurd amount of clay.

A few awkward conversations and several suspicious requests for books on souls, Dark Magic and ancient Black rituals later, Harry has built a life-sized statue.

Of himself.

Well… a better version of himself.

Slightly taller.
No scars.
Straighter posture.
A face that actually smiles.

Harry tells himself it’s only because it’ll be easier to explain after a summer growth spurt.

It definitely has nothing to do with wishing he looked like someone worth saving.

His original plan is simple: create a magical duplicate capable of attending Hogwarts in his place while he stays behind searching for a real way to kill Voldemort.

Somehow it works.

Whether Harry unknowingly invents an entirely new branch of soul magic, accidentally creates something similar to a Horcrux, or simply performs a ritual nobody has attempted in centuries is up to the author.

The important part is that the clay breathes.

For two months, Harry teaches his copy everything.
How to answer questions.

How to act around Ron and Hermione.
How to survive classes.
How to fake being Harry Potter.

The problem?

Harry only teaches him the good parts.

He removes every flaw he hates about himself.

No trauma.
No nightmares.
No anger.
No guilt.
No paranoia.
No self-loathing.
No crippling instinct to sacrifice himself every five minutes.

The result is an incredibly kind, optimistic, emotionally healthy young man.

He’s also spectacularly naive.

Harry sends him to Hogwarts with one instruction:

“If Voldemort shows up, don’t do anything stupid. Tell me, and I’ll deal with it.”

For weeks, everything goes perfectly.

Ron comments that Harry seems happier.
Hermione says he’s finally sleeping enough.
Even Snape looks mildly confused.

Nobody realizes they’re talking to someone who has only existed for two months.

Nobody…

Except Voldemort.

When the fake Harry is eventually captured, Voldemort immediately realizes something is wrong.

This isn’t the boy he remembers.

This Harry is polite.
Hopeful.
He calls him “sir.”
He doesn’t argue.
He doesn’t glare.
He doesn’t bite back with sarcastic remarks.
He’s… nice.

And Voldemort hates it.

“Who are you?”
The clone, completely honest, simply smiles.
“I’m Harry Potter.”
“No.”
For the first time in years, Voldemort sounds genuinely offended.
“No, you’re not.”

Meanwhile, the real Harry receives the emergency message from his duplicate, sighs dramatically, grabs his wand, and mutters:

“For Merlin’s sake. I actually have to rescue myself.”

By the time he crashes into the manor to save his own clone, Voldemort is staring between the two identical boys with growing fascination.

Everyone else sees two Harry Potters.

Voldemort sees an imitation… and the original immediately.

Not because of appearance.
Not because of magic.

But because the real Harry Potter is still the only boy in Britain who walks into a room already looking for the nearest exit.

I've been having a problem never since i encountered tomarrymort a few months back, that im running out of good fanfictions. ive read basically everything and the few things i didnt read are not interesting to me or the writing style isn't good. here is my bookmarks with my all time fav works.

i've been feeling depressed lately and reading isnt giving me satisfactions anymore. its hard to read other fics where you constantly compare them to your favs. i dont want to leave the fandom either buttt ldkkk. have any tips or recs?

recently I've been craving post-hog minister for magic! tom riddle fics. i lovelovelove his darkest devotion and would like to find anything else with a great world-building and political themes, where harry and tom dance around one another

it can be a complete au/​an alternative ending where voldemort wins/dimension travels etc, but I'm not a big fan of time travels and​ bashings of canonically good characters

Most Tomarry fics focus heavily on politics, pureblood culture or Wizengamot stuff, but are there any that really explore the magical side of the HPverse beyond what’s shown in canon?

I want to read more than just the usual Hogwarts spells or potions. One good story I’ve read that has a unique take on magical lore is A Snake in the Apothecary. It features Harry sacrificing plants or creature parts in exchange for power instead of using wands or spells, which I thought was really refreshing to read.

So basically harry( the one from the au) was abused by lily and James( they r alive in the alternate universe) and raised to be a perfect spouse bcz of his abilities. After having a son with tom he finds out his son has the same abilities . He summons Harry ( og ) after coming to terms that he was going to die .Also another snippet is that he was part of a movement/resistance against Bellatrix (Tom isn't involved).

And a funny part is that Harry keeps ordering junk food for himself and their kid and Tom keeps losing his mimd

Hello everyone! I’m looking for a fic, it’s very fuzzy in my mind but for sure, Harry took the draught of living death for a few years (I think Tom betrayed him?). Does that sound familiar to anyone? Thanks!

This is an old fic that I remember stumbling upon online ages ago. It was hosted on its author’s own website and it was VERY dark. Basically Harry agreed to be trained to defeat Voldemort but it turns out he’s signing up to be experimented on and abused by Snape and others to turn him into the perfect soldier, including activating latent Incubus heritage in his heritage that leads to Snape and others sexually abusing him to feed him.

He regains control and flees to Voldemort and begs for protection and ultimately joins his side as Lord Xanatos (iirc), and he and Voldemort proceed to kidnap his former friends who it turns out all pretty much turned on him. He leaves Remus alive but locked up as a dog to redeem himself, and he lets Neville and Luna go live new, free lives far away. But everyone else he and Voldemort torture to death.

The fic ends with them subduing and defeating Dumbledore. I also recall a recurring thing where either Draco or Lucius keep walking in on them having sex.

I can’t remember this fanfic only that its a Tomarry fanfic where Harry is the Master of Death but there is kind of a twist? I think it’s an ongoing series/abandoned series, cause in the 2nd story part, there are slight hints of Death x Harry. And the relationship between Tom and Harry is getting worse. The first part of the story is finished. I think Harry is a time-traveler too.

the only things i remember is that tom absorbs his horcruxes back and is in a coma for like 2 weeks because of that and then dumbledore comes and kills harry with the sword of gryffindor but he doesn't die and tom harry ron hermione and draco go to the beach and tom is wearing red shorts. also tom smokes a lot
