They’ve spent 5 seasons showing how kingpins NEVER held accountable for his actions as long as he’s in New York and maintains those connections. He was able to run his whole crime syndicate from INSIDE Prison in S2 even if HE does go to jail.

1.Probably for the same Reason Daredevil isn’t there, they don’t just put anyone in there it seems like Avenger level threats are put there.

With Kingpins resources it’s 100% reasonable to believe he manipulates it in a way to where he goes where HE wants to and that’s if he even goes to jail.

3.Bringing him back to New York to stand trial ONCE AGAIN is not worth the risk while he still has influence.

It’s been shown time and time again the power Fisk has while in New York, the only way to stop him without killing him was to remove his influence, and how do you do that? Forcing him to WILLINGLY Renounce his New York citizenship ship, Pulling all his Assets, Forcing him out of town ASAP. Matt knew this was the only way and why he wasn’t too bothered.

You could tell by the moods of both them at the end that Daredevil won. Kingpin is depressed and tortured on the beach while Matt is smiling in Prison.
