Quick back story here, I have a friend in the organization who tipped me off about how bad the schedule release video was going to be. She really under sold it. That was on May 1st and the Cardinals were just starting to brainstorm ideas. So, I said ‘fuck it, I’ll try and make one’, and I did. I also used AI, mostly out of necessity but really only used it to animate the characters I generated from the jokes and sketches I wrote. I recorded most of the dialogue (used a voice changer) added sound design, and edited it to be a parody of Robot Chicken. Actual effort went into this video, not just typing prompts. And in a little over a week and less than 20 dollars spent I made my Cardinals Schedule Release Video, and in my opinion it’s infinitely better. This shit is not hard, and it doesn’t have to be hard, it just needs to be good. And for the creative department within the organization this should be like Christmas morning, but the lack of effort is indicative of the culture in the building and the apathy is taking over the fan base… it’s just fucking sad at this point.
