I recently purchased the Tempest and Vespa by ARTIFACT, and here are my thoughts.
The Tempest by Artifact is a dry smoking pipe with modern aesthetics.
The build quality is amazing and it feels solid in your hands, it’s made from two pieces of high grade hard-anodized CNC milled aluminum. The two halves are magnetized and come apart easily for cleaning, and snap back together with fine precision.
The interior maze design “labyrinth” is a really cool design as it’s designed to cool the smoke with each draw.
The Tempest is truly an exceptional piece.
I paired the Tempest with a Vesta, which is equally impressive.
The Vesta is a modern ashtray made from three parts of anodized aluminum that is very well-engineered. It consists of three parts, a lid, body, and a lower compartment that magically breaks apart and reassembles seamlessly with its magnetized construction. I'm very impressed with the build quality and how well it functions.
The Vesta has an impressive design and feels solid in your hands, you can feel the force of the magnets when you twist the compartments apart and whole again.
Hands down, an amazing combination to my rituals and a conversation piece.
