So let me preface this by saying for the last just over a year I started by helping a friend out. I told her then I’d have to charge her. But honestly never had a clue how to bill any of this.
I do her social posts as well as content creation. I follow her around making this content as well as piecing it all together into something usable.
It has grown lots over the past year and I’m quite proud of it. I’m just unsure how to go about or what to charge for this. It is consuming a lot of my time. I have two small kids and work full time also with family business. So it is getting to be entirely too much without being paid.
Can someone help me figure out what to charge? I know this is a loaded question. But I genuinely don’t know how else to wrangle any of this.
I do minimum 5 posts of some sort a week, everything links back to events on her website. On top of dealing with her website woman 🫠 as well as shooting and making content which is anything from event posters to reels. I have to make it all. I get almost zero help from the friend I’m making it for and it’s a LOT🫣. So how do I go about charging for this as someone without prior SM marketing or anything. Because I also have other people asking me for help now after seeing what I have done with hers!
