okay this might be a long story but I am going to try to summarize it, I am 18 years old and ive never had taken any medication but i started lithium i want to say like 5 months ago now and the whole reason i started lithium was because i had a “episode” while tripping on shrooms, going forward with this i was in college when this happened where i did shrooms for a couple of days yk and i mean yeah i was tripping but i wasnt doing crazy shit and then one day my parents showed up randomly and stuff and like when they showed up i was tripping but i kept my composure or tried too cause i didnt want my parents to know but basically i thought my parents werent my real parents and like i thought they were kidnapping me and i like headbutted my mom and dad cause i was scared and then the cops came, i went to the hospital was fine then i went to a mental hospital and i was okay i havent started taking lithium then i got out and i had went to the doctors and they prescribed me with 900mg of lithium and i have never taken it all but i just dont know if i need them or not because even when i was high before or would drink i would never be aggressive and even when i was sober i was always so happy and stuff i never was angry, but now im getting kinda like scared because i tell my doctor i want to get off the medication and stuff and he seems to not care he is very certain ill have another episode but i think hes wrong should i stay on it or hop off?
