2021 Honda Pilot Touring 117,000kms for $38,000. Private sale, so no dealer fees, and I will only have to pay 5% PST on top. Seller refuses to negotiate price, states they can get similar if they trade it in (were offered $33,000 by the dealer, but they'd get a break on the taxes on a new vehicle with a trade in). I can't verify if this is true, but why try to sell privately then?
It needs a new windshield, it has a proper crack in it, but otherwise no issues. The seller says if I need, he can replace the windshield for $300 (has a buddy who can do it for cost), so still not really budging on price, but I won't buy it without a new windshield factored in.
Is this a good deal, or just alright? My dad says he thinks I can find something with fewer kms, but everything else available is from a dealer.
