I’m currently enrolled in the first year of another degree program and want to pursue law side by side.I have cleared LAT . I’m confused about how the process works now, especially since LLB is now 4 year / semester-based program.

My questions are:

  1. Is it possible to do LLB privately without regular attendance or classes , considering I am already persuading a degree.

  2. As a private candidate, do you only need to appear in semester exams to complete the degree ? As a private candidate how can one prepare for the exams are there any recommended resources available online

3- Do you have to be enrolled in an HEC-recognized university, or is there some separate registration/awarding body?

4- Who conducts the exams ,the university itself or another board?

If anyone has personal experience or accurate information, I’d really appreciate your guidance. Thanks!

I’m an MS Psychology student conducting a short research survey on academic competition and its impact on the mental health of university students in Pakistan. With increasing academic pressure, there is a need to better understand how students are affected psychologically, especially in local university settings. This is an anonymous 2–3 minute survey for academic research only. Your responses will be really helpful 🙏
