Two years difference - gym pics

More normal pics here lol

First pics in grey: my first day ever in the gym, November 2024 - in white: last week!

As in my last post -

Routine l've been following last few months:

  1. Hip thrust
  2. Leg press
  3. Single leg press
  4. Kickback
  5. Abduction

In this exact order (3/4 sets each, reps in a range between 8-12 depending on the weight im using).
But I've now put together a new workout split and this is going to stay as one of my two lower body days (with leg extensions added to it), the other is going to be more hamstrings focused). I'm also starting my first bulk!

I will also add that these are actually the results of around a year and a half of training rather than two years (I had to take 6 months off). And first year was definitely on and off!

I can’t answer in detail about nutrition and workout split I followed since November 2024 because theres been a lot of trial and error, on and off periods, nutrition was pretty all over the place (might have paid attention to protein at most, and not super consistently). But that’s the routine I’ve stuck to since June/july :)

Very happy: 2 months before after!

So, I know the angle and slip placement is slightly different, but I see a difference not only in the fullness of my glutes, i see it in the quads as well!!

Routine was overly simplified recently: hip thrust 3x12, squats/leg press 3x12, kickbacks 3x12, abductions 2 x exhaustion. And then I switch to the upper body, I have JUST started (1 month-ish) and I already see results! That’s just incredible. And I actually love training full body, i would have never said that.

Just happy :)

1 year and a half of training. Happy and content, and very curious to see what’s ahead.
I don’t have a specific routine, but staples are hip thrust, squats (or leg press), single leg press, BSS, abductions. A long time favorite were step ups, but I injured myself with it, so no more step ups for me!

Glute imbalance

So, my left cheek is less round and prominent than the right one. More reps on unilateral exercises? Any experiences with it, did you even them out?

Back at it :)

Had to stop training for 5 months, losing basically all my gains. But muscle memory must be a thing, because this is just 3 months of effort and focus! Happy ;)
