Notepad for browser
I built my first Chrome extension and just published it. It's a sticky notepad that lives in the top right corner of your browser.
I made it because I kept switching tabs just to write something down mid-browse. Watching a YouTube video and needed to grab a timestamp, reading an article and wanted to save a link, whatever. It was driving me crazy.
So now there's just a little notepad sitting in the corner. Click it, write stuff, close it. It's there next time you open the browser too.
Some ways I use it:
- Notes while watching videos
- Saving links on the fly
- Keeping a password or two handy
- Random thoughts I don't want to lose
Everything stays local to your browser. Nothing is sent anywhere, no account needed, and it's free.
