Hey everyone!
Just wondering if anyone has had it before where their flexi working request hasn’t been sorted out within the 2 month timeline?
I submitted a flexi working request to my employer at the beginning of March, it was declined, I have appealed and they are working on the appeal. Small context, although they used the correct legal terms to decline my request, I disagreed with them based on a few reasons. For example, before MAT leave I worked full time nights, I have requested to move to part time days and my request was declined due to being unable to reorganise work amongst staff and it’ll negatively impact the customer. I disagree as no one has covered my job since being on MAT leave.
I’ve been trying to get a hold of pregnant then screwed but they are super busy each time I ring.
My maternity leave ends this week then I’m on annual leave until June and I’m none the wiser about what hours I’m returning to!
Any advice would be appreciated as I’m not sure where I stand now
