201t mk2 *ping* sounds
I have a few sets of takomos, but picked these 201Ts up this season. So far havent seen any quality issues for assembly - all hosels tight cleanly mounted. Im on the KBS tours, so i hope i dont run into the issues plaguing the tour lites.
The irons feel great for a cast club, quite impressed... but im getting these incredibly weird sounding high pitched "pings" when i strike my 6 iron off the toe. Off the center, it sounds great, just like everything else in the set. But, with this 6, it sounds like a completely different club off the toe, and frankly sounds like broken iron. Just wondering if this is likely a defect? Never experienced it with any irons in the old 101T set. I havent hit the 4-5 iron yet as i was planning to combo in my 101t 4-5... so its unclear if this is an issue with longer irons within the set -> just tested pw-6
