Need advice buying my first proper casual sneakers

I already wear sports shoes daily to office, so these are mainly for going out with friends, dates, casual outings etc.

I mostly wear blue jeans and beige cargos, and I want one versatile pair that works with almost everything and still looks good over time.

I’m confused between:

  • getting one Puma pair around ₹2.5k OR
  • getting two Red Tape pairs around ₹1k each

For people who’ve owned both — does Puma actually feel noticeably better in terms of comfort, looks and overall quality? Or is Red Tape good enough that it makes more sense to get two pairs instead?

Would really appreciate honest opinions.

This is the Red Tape pair I found:

And this is the Puma pair I really liked:

Looks-wise I clearly prefer the Puma, especially that Desert Dust + gum sole colorway. I’m mainly wondering whether it’s actually worth paying ~₹1k+ extra in terms of comfort, longevity and how well it’ll age over time.

One Puma vs two Red Tape pairs for casual wear — what’s smarter long term?

Need some honest advice from people who’ve owned both Puma and Red Tape.

I’m basically buying my first proper casual sneakers. I already use sports shoes daily to office, so these are mainly for going out with friends, dates, casual outings etc.

I’m confused between:

  • getting one Puma pair around ₹2.5k OR
  • getting two Red Tape pairs around ₹1k each

I mostly wear blue jeans and beige cargos, and I just want something that:

  • looks good for a long time
  • is comfortable
  • doesn’t need too much care
  • works with most outfits

Does the extra money for Puma actually feel worth it in real life, or should I just get two cheaper pairs for variety?

Would love honest opinions from people who’ve used both.
