I’ve been running my Navimow i210 for about a week now and largely going well. We have an open lot (no fences) so the back and both sides of the yard are mapped as one large zone. It takes a couple charges to mow our lot, which is fine.
One thing I’ve noticed is that it often bounces back and forth between the side yards when mowing depending on how the algorithm calculates a path and when it returns from charging. This often means that a side yard gets half mowed in the first charge, then the second charge will half mow the other side yard. By the third charge it has to bounce around between back, and both side yards (and drives the long way around since you can’t channel across the driveway for both side yards when they’re the same zone).
Is there a way to optimize this? Could I setup the back, left, and right yards as separate zones and have it fully mow one zone before moving onto the next one? Or just accept the inefficiency as just a quirk?
