Some pics from last weekend's 24H race in Belgium ! Have you watched the race?
We are on the podium of our very first 24 Hours race with our scintillas ! What a race !
Our goals were to stay alive and to keep it in the top 10, and we achieved it ( and even did a little better than expected ) ! But it was not an easy task, as a 24 hours race is full of game changing events.
The race started well, Mika and Jack managed to keep both cars on thier starting positions until the first pit stops. But a few hours into the race, as th night started to fall, car #14 was taken in a multiple car incidents, Océane, who was driving it, managed thanks to her quick reaction time to avoid the wall, but the car suffered heavy damages, including a broken rear left suspension. She managed to bring it back to the pits, and due to the damages on the barriers, as well as the debris and wrecks on track, the race was red flagged during an hour , which allowed us to repair most of the damages on car #14. Despite that, the car had lost 10 positions.
Thanks to amazing driving and great strategic calls, car #14 and it's crew managed to regain some of the places lost, leading them to an overall P8, three laps behind the lead car.
Car #46 kept fighting for the top 5 during the whole race, even leading it during 2 hours during the night. During the last hours, after a safety car intervention, a hard battle for the lead was engaged between the 4 first cars, including Car #46, a fight that lead to the 4 of them passing the finish line in less than 30 seconds from the first to the fourth after 24 Hours of racing. Car #46 took the third place, completing the podium after Car #1 form the Scuderia Civetta Factory Program and Car #12 from GoNoob Motorsports.
Some words from James Cromwell after the race :
" That was a hell of a race, but we made it, altrough we lost a few places because of that crash, but we managed to come back and keep it in our goals. So I'm happy, exhausted but happy, it was a big challenge, and we made it, so I think we can only be proud of our performance. I know some teamates wanted to do more, and I kinda did too, because we had the performance, but in the end, it was such a great experience that it doesn't really matter to me. I'm also very happy for the teamates of car #46, who earned this podium after fighting like beasts non stop, 24 hours straight, and yet never letting go of the throttle.
We learned a lot of things and it was important for us as the next race is not only the team's home race, but also the most mythical of the calendar. Our goals now are simple, for this one, we aim for the win because it's not a race, it's THE race. We will keep on working in the next weeks to prepare even more, but now, I need to sleep. "
We would like to share our congratulations for the Scuderia Civetta for this well deserved win and our thanks to all the other competitiors for the amazing race we had with them, especially GoNoob Motorsports and our friends from FireSword Motorsports.
And also, many thanks to every single one of you guys who watched the race, at the track or from home !
We will of course post a few pics of the race in the upcomming days.

Welcome to the 5th part of our Meet The Drivers series, intoducing Léa Sparks !
Léa was born in Paris on the 21st of June 2000, she is the second of five brothers and sisters. She inherited her passion for motorsports from her father who was a race engineer for Cherrier's rally program in the late 1990s and 2000s.
In 2007 at age 7, she took part in her very first karting race alongside her older brother Théo, after her familly managed to gather enough money to fund thier first championship season. They continued racing together in karting, winning races and improving until 2015, when her brother who is one year older was offered a spot in the french FB4 Championship. However despite her talent, Léa never had the chance to make it into any single seater series as she faced severe discrimination, mostly due to her being a woman, she was not trusted to drive an FB4 car.
Despite that, she contiued karting, during 3 more years, winning the french national karting championship twice. In 2018 she was given the opportunity to try a GT4 car, her very fast and skilled driving impressed the FireSword Motorsport team so much that they decided to give her a seat in the GT4 National cup in 2019. She quickly imposed herself as one of the fastest drivers of the grid, winning multiple races and fighting for the championship. In 2021 the Durandal Racing Team introduced a new driver, Max Letank, in the GT4 National cup, Léa and him quickly became rivals on track. But outside the cars, both of them started to get really close to each other, eventually falling in love in 2022. Two years later, Max left the championship to race in GT3 endurance, in the same year Léa won the GT4 National cup.
In 2025, Léa was hired Durandal Racing to join our GT3 Endurance program, joining Max in car #46's crew and taking an important part in the success of the team. She still drives in car #46's crew today, alongside Max Letank who became her fiancé and Jack Hunter. She is the one that drives the car during the qualifying sessions. Thanks to thier teamwork and efforts, Car #46 is at the moment the leader of the GT3 Endurance Championship. A championship that her brother joined, as he is racing in Winnabet Racing's Car #25.
She is one of the only 6 female driver on the grid alongside Car #14's driver, Océane Laflèche.
Thank you for reading this new episode of Meet The Drivers, we hope you enjoyed it ! Stay tuned for Episode 6 next week, introducing Jack Hunter !
Qualifications are done for the 24 Hours of Benelux, Léa and James managed to sign the 4th and 6th best times, giving us places in the 2nd and 3rd rows for tomorow's race !
Later today we will have one final session , the FP4, to practice night driving and test our setups. The race is just around the corner and the excitation is growing up in the paddocks !
Some words from Léa Sparks, driver of car #46 :
"The session went great, I did the best I could to gain positions but there is some very strong competition, the whole top 10 holds in less than a second of difference. We couldn't get a first row start, but we can't really complain, we are very competitive and we are starting from the 4th and 6th positions out of 36, which is better than we could have expected a few days ago. We still can do some improvement, and that will be our goal during the FP4. "
Stay tuned for FP4 and for the next Meet The Drivers episode, comming out today or tomorow morning.
FP3 is done on the Benelux. Another very satisfying session, every new free practices sessions is an improvement from the previous one.
Max and James managed to sign the 2nd and 3rd best times on track during FP3.
Tomorow is a busy day as well, as it's the last day until the race, qualifications will take place on tomorow morning and there will also be a FP4 session at night on tomorow evening.
Stay tunned for qualifications and FP4 results !
An eventfull session this morning in Belgium as multiple incident happened, reducing by a lot the time we had to test our inproved setups. But overall another satisfying session. Mika even managed to sign the second best time on track with car #14.
Car #46 is a little bit behind but still takes the 5th place overall. However we are not the only ones improving, the whole field is very competitive.
The first session of free practices just ended in the Belgian Ardennes, a good opportunity to get our first impressions on this track with the Scintillas and to test our first setups !
An overall very satisfying session, as we are faster that we expected, but we can still improve a lot, the engineers are already working on improving our setups. As for the weather, the actual broadcast announces sunny skies and no rain for the whole weekends, but we can not fully rely on that, as this region is known for it's sudent weather changes.
Some words from James Cromwell, driver of car #14 :
" It's our first time here for a 24H race with these Scintillas, in the past two years, we did not had the opportunity to participate in a 24 hour race, but we've been training a lot for this one. I can't say I'm fully confident, but I think we're doing good. The cars feels great and everyone is working hard. Our main goal here is to hold the top 10 and, most importantly, to survive until the end, the Scintilla GT3 Evo 1 has proven it's a reliable and fast car, but the car is not the only one to suffer, so it'll be a big challenge for us. But of course if we feel that we can do more and push to aim for a podium or maybe even better, then we will do it, it all depends on how the race will be going, and right now, it's too soon to tell or predict anything. "
Next up : FP2 session, tomorow morning ! Stay tuned !
There are usually 4 or 5 trackdays organised before the start of the free practices. Everything road legal is allowed on track !
Welcome in this fourth part of our Meet The Drivers Series, introducing Max Letank !
Max was born on the 14th of April 2000 in Carlugnac, France, only a few kilometer's away from Durandal Racing's headquarters, like Océane Laflèche. He's the third generation of a line of renewed GT drivers. His Grandfather was Pierre Letank, a legendary driver who also co-founded and drove for Durandal Racing in the 1980's, his father, Xavier Letank also raced with us from the end of the 1990's to the late 2010's.
Him and his twin sister, Emma, grew up on the race tracks, watching thier father and his teamates racing. Unlike his sister, Max quickly gained intrest in motorsports, at age 8 he entered his first official karting competition, which he ended up winning two years later. He continued kating for 6 years then entered the french regional FB4 championship, already showing a very aggressive yet precise and effective driving style and strong defensive skills, like his granfather, the Red Knight. He continued his single seater career until 2020, year during he won the FB3 World Championship. Despite that, he was unable to get a seat in FB2 and started to take intrest in GT and Prototype Endurance racing. He raced in the french GT4 championship during three seasons, from 2021 to 2023, for the first time under the colors of the team he grew up with, Durandal Racing. In 2024, he joined our GT3 Endurance program, driving our first GT3 Endurance car alongside James Cromwell and Mike Dupont. A year later, in 2025, he was choosed by Durandal Racing to become the lead driver of a second GT3 Endurance crew, the crew of the actual car #46, which is currently, the leader of the Global GT3 Endurance Championship
In 2021, during the 4th race of the French GT4 national cup season, he had a strong fight during almost the whole race with another car, a fight that ended with both of them crashing after a collision. The driver of this car was a 21 years old woman, named Léa Sparks. She quickly became Max's rival, a rivality that later evolved in something unexpected, as today, 5 years later, they are both teamates and most importantly, about to get married..
Nowedays, at 26 years old, Max Letank is still the lead driver of car #46's crew, driving alongside Léa Sparks and Jack Hunter. He's an important figure in Durandal Racing's organisation and is working with our new drivers to help them start thier carrers.
We hope you enjoyed this new episode,
thank you for reading and see you next week for Episode 5, introducing Léa Sparks !

Welcome to this third part of our Meet The Drivers series, introducing Mika S. Nakamura !
Mika was born in 2004, in Irvine, California, from German-Japanese parents. His Familly later moved to Belasco when he was 4 years old.
His intrest to automobiles started a year later in 2009 when his father brought him to the Formula Beam One Belasco Grand Prix. At about 8 years old he already wanted to do car racing. Seeing his intrest for car racing, his father, who worked for Ibishu as a race engineer bought him his first go-kart, starting his motorsport journey. He raced for 5 years but ended his go-kart career to focus on education, a career that was funded by his uncle, the racing legend Johann Schroeder who drove for Durandal Racing in the GT1 championship alongside Xavier Letank back in the 1990s. His uncle also funded his university.
Mika Graduated from the Mechanical University of Belasco with a degree in mechanical engineering and worked as an engineer for Hirochi during a few months before he got the encouragement to keep chasing his dream of becoming a professional motorsports driver like his heroes, his uncle and the great british FB1 driver, Nigel Mawsell.
In 2025, Durandal Racing, intrested by his profile, decided to propose to him to become a test and reseve driver for our GT3 Endurance Programm. He then stepped up as a permanent driver in car #14's crew alongside James Cromwell and Océane Laflèche to replace Mike Dupont in late 2025 and played a key role in the victory of car #14 at the 6 Hours of Automation. Nowedays he is still racing with the same crew in the GT3 Endurance championship and he's looking foward to continue racing in GT3 while also racing in other championships at the same time.
Thank you for reading, we hope you enjoyed this new episode ! See you next week for Episode 4, which will be introducing Max Letank.
